Schedule Changes

Schedules for the Spring Semester 2020 have been completed & are posted in Portal

Please remember, each year the master schedule is created to accommodate students’ course requests made during registration last year. Faculty member are employed, textbooks are purchased, and rooms are assigned on the basis of these requests. A schedule adjustment will only be reviewed if the student has an incorrect course.

Conifer has a schedule correction policy which states that only changes for “an academic compelling reason” will be allowed. Examples of academic compelling reasons are listed below.

Allowable Schedule Changes:
1. The student has a class that was not requested on their registration form.
2. A student needs a specific class to graduate or as a prerequisite.
3. The student is in the wrong level class or in a class without the proper prerequisite.
4. The student’s schedule is incomplete.

NOTE:  Any request to drop a course must be discussed with your counselor and the teacher, your parents and then approved by an Assistant Principal. If it is decided a course drop should be made: this must be done prior to the 6th week of class. Course drops made between weeks 3 -5 of each semester are noted on transcripts with a WP (withdraw pass) or WF (withdraw fail) and do not affect your grade point average. Courses dropped after the 5th week of class each semester will result in an “F” on your transcript and will affect your grade point average.
