Congratulate Carson Phillips and James Lafferty for their 8th place finish (in the world) in Buying and Merchandising Team Decision-Making! This puts them in the top 1% of DECA competitors and they were on stage twice in front of 23,000 high school students and their advisors from around the world.

purchase award and will hang in the Ed center forevermore.
All State Band
Elijah Blanton, Benjamin Harrison, and Kaylee Wilson will be at All State Band at UNC Greeley.
All State Choir and All State Orchestra

2024 Conifer DECA State Awards Announcement
A huge thank you to our chaperones Becky and Chris Paschke and our chaperone and bus driver, Wesley Paxton for making this trip possible. Congratulations to our 42 Conifer HS DECA students who competed in State from February 24th through February 27th. We had a successful competition, and our students were outstandingly considerate, professional and exceptional young people all around.
The following 5 students qualified in the top 5% of Colorado DECA students and have earned a competitive spot in the International Competition in April in Anaheim, California:

Conifer DECA qualified 15 students for written event finals and 5 students in role play finals at State Conference this year. Making it into the finals puts these students in the top 7% of DECA Competitors in Colorado.

In the Best of Show competition, the Conifer yearbook placed 10th out of the several hundred schools present and competing.
In individual competitions, Conifer took the stage many times!

Cross Country
Congratulations to the girls cross country team for qualifying for state as a team. The is the first time in 17 years that the girls team has qualified for state. Congratulations also to Kylar B. on the boys team who qualified for state.
Journalism
Congratulations to our students who attended State J-Day
Journalism Conference @ CSU on Thursday, September 14th. They
entered 5 categories of competition and students won awards in all
5 categories!
